With a heart for planting businesses, coaching and mentoring have been roles Terry has enjoyed and excelled at during a 30 year career on both the executive and entrepreneurial sides of business. Accepting an invitation to join The Entrepreneur Authority was a natural trajectory for Terry’s career. As an entrepreneur, corporate executive, sales, marketing and business development professional, Terry’s experience and skill sets are an exceptional fit with self employment counseling and eAuthority. As a talent scout for America’s top franchisors, Terry serves people who are looking to make a career change and build an enhanced life through business ownership with the right franchise system.  

Since 2004, Terry has practiced his craft as a franchise development executive for major franchise companies, helping couples discern whether small business ownership and franchising we a good fit for their future financial and lifestyle objectives.

Previous to the franchise industry, Terry was on the executive management teams of two software startup ventures, ExoBrian Inc. and OnLetterhead, LLC. With strategic and tactical responsibilities for concept & design of emerging technologies and project development leadership for revenue generation, Terry worked closely with small, medium and enterprise level business owners to integrate technology solutions into their marketing systems.  

In 2000 Terry accepted an invitation to join the executive management team of General Revenue Corporation at the Director level. Terry led the build out and business development project of a startup telemarketing operating unit for GRC, taking the unit to profitability in 6 months.  

In 1996 Terry joined a Cincinnati-based direct marketing agency, Michael Eisele and Associates as Director of Sales. The direct marketing agency targeted the radio industry along with medium to small sized businesses with direct mail & telemarketing programs.  

Terry started his professional career in 1977 in the radio industry, working with small business owners and held successively increasing positions of responsibility in marketing and sales over the next 19 years with multiple broadcasting companies including Booth Broadcasting, CitiCasters & Heritage Media.  

Starting at Bowling Green State University in 1973 Terry found his desire for business on the startup team at WFAL, the student campus radio station for BGSU, graduating with the distinctions of Outstanding Young Men in America and Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.  

Terry lives in Canton, Michigan with his wife, their 3 dogs and 2 cats. Actively volunteering in the community and with their church, Terry and his wife also enjoy gardening, bicycling and traveling.
